Guitarist
Craig Graham's early music influence came from his family; he grew up with Mom's
Jazz, R&B and Soul records and his brothers' Rock & Roll albums. His
oldest brother started teaching him guitar at the age of nine. In high school Craig started
performing live with his first Rock & Roll band. He attended Berklee College of Music and
also studied with many private teachers and attended
workshops with some great musicians including Dave Creamer, Pat Matheny, Michael
Brecker and many more. For the next twenty plus years Craig has become one of
the most versatile guitarists playing many styles including Jazz, Classical,
Bluegrass, Latin, Blues, Jam band, Rock and Pop music. You can find him performing
intimate solo gigs, with orchestras and bands in all types of venues. He has
toured in Europe, central America, the Caribbean, Asia and the USA. Besides
performances in his original bands he also has performed or recorded with great
musicians and bands including Jeff Andrews, Dave Creamer, Vince DelGato, Joe Deninzon,
Mark
Egan, Ian Froman, Hans Glawischnig, Craig Handy, Molly Holm, Carol Lawrence, Donny
McCaslin, Danny Paradise, Bill Rogers, Bobby Ridle, Ben Vereen, Michael Wilcox,
Creatrix, Hexbelt, Rural Free Delivery and others. Also Craig has been a guitar
instructor since the mid 80's. He is currently instructing at the American Institute
of Guitar in New York City.
